ДАТА РЕЛИЗА – 27 ИЮЛЯ 2018

Трилогия «Властелин Колец» - одна из самых успешных за всю историю кино. На ее счету 17 премий Оскар, три из которых за музыку. Помимо похвалы критиков саундтрек трилогии стал настоящим хитом продаж - всего было продано 7 миллионов копий. Фильмы серии «Властелин колец» поставил режиссер Питер Джексон по одноименному популярному роману Дж. Р. Р. Толкина.

Лейбл Rhino вновь возвращается в Средиземье, и после выхода в апреле первого из саундтреков трилогии, THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING: THE COMPLETE RECORDINGS, выпускает саундтрек ко второй части - THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE TWO TOWERS – THE COMPLETE RECORDINGS.

Музыка к фильму впервые будет доступна на виниле. Виниловые бокс-сеты, каждому из которых присвоен индивидуальный номер, выйдут ограниченным тиражом (8000 экземпляров). Коллекционная упаковка будет обтянута в материал, стилизованный под синюю кожу, внутри – пять 180-граммовых синих виниловых пластинок. В издание на CD войдут три диска и Blu-ray аудио диск со звуком высокого разрешения 5.1 и стерео миксом всей музыки саундтрека. Также новое CD издание будет дополнено музыкой из расширенной версии фильма. Оба издания будет включать буклет с примечаниями Дага Адамса, в которых он анализирует темы и мотивы, звучащие в саундтреке.

Музыку ко всем трем фильмам написал Говард Шор. Для «Двух крепостей» ее исполняет Лондонский филармонический оркестр, при поддержке хоров The London Voices и хора мальчиков The London Oratory School Schola. Саундтрек получил золотой статус в США, Великобритании и Канаде и стал лауреатом премий «Оскар» в номинации «лучший саундтрек».

THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE TWO TOWERS – THE COMPLETE RECORDINGS – второй из трех релизов, в число которых вошли вышедший в апреле The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001) и запланированный на ближайшее будущее The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003), которые также впервые выйдут (а первая часть уже вышла) на цветном виниле.
